Delivered Christmas
Scandi Gingerbread Man: DachsDesign Delivered - Festive Issue
This page has everything you need to stitch the Scandi Gingerbread Man from your DachsDesign Delivered Snail Mail! The chart on the back of the card is the full pattern, and this page adds the thread list and a few tips.
Threads
Use DMC stranded cotton, with two strands over one square of 14 count aida.

What you need
- Use fabric of at least 18cm x 21cm so there is room to frame the finished piece
- A size 24 tapestry needle
- Small, sharp scissors
- A hoop, if you like to stitch with one
Size
The design is 43 x 59 stitches.
The stitched area is the following:
14 count aida - 3.1in x 4.2in (7.8cm x 10.7cm)
16 count aida - 2.7in x 3.7in (6.8cm x 9.4cm)
18 count aida - 2.4in x 3.3in (6.1cm x 8.3cm)
Stitching Tips
- Fold your fabric in half both ways to find the centre, then start where the arrows meet in the middle of the chart.
- The bold lines on the chart mark every 10 stitches, which makes counting easier.
- Keep the top stitch of each cross going in the same direction so the finished piece looks neat.
- When you’ve finished, you can frame it, put it in a small hoop or make it into an ornament.

Using this pattern
You’re welcome to stitch this pattern and sell the finished items, whether that’s framed pieces, ornaments or cards. Please don’t copy, share, resell or give away the pattern itself, including the chart, the PDFs or the images of them. If you post a photo of your finished piece, a mention of DachsDesign is always appreciated but not required.
If something doesn’t look right on your chart, send me an email to info@dachsdesign.no.
